It is in the coastal town of Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, situated between Brighton and Worthing, and has a good variety of local pubs and restaurants on offer as well as local attractions such as kite surfing, wind surfing, canoeing, Lancing College and crazy summer events such as the local bath tub race!

Rutland House has recently been featured on BBC2's 'Be & Be The Best' which focused on guest houses around England to highlight changes in the grading system with effect from January 2006. We were awarded 4 stars!

Rutland House has comfortable rooms, most are en-suite, all recently refurbished to a high standard, with television and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have internet connection available to those who need it.
